How I can help:
I am a Certified Yoga Teacher (200-hr, GaiaTri), Certified Fitness Instructor (AFLCA), Certified Pilates Instructor (Spencer), former yoga studio owner, and personal trainer. With 25 years experience in weight loss programs, I have the know-how to help you achieve the results you want. I am the creator of programs and workshops for women that blend yoga, meditation, breath work, clean food nutrition, Ayurveda, and Transformational Coaching. Ive worked with clients to help them successfully lose weight through healthy eating and yoga principles and through reconnecting with what their bodies really need. I have spent the past 10 years personally researching and experimenting with cleansing, juice fasts, herbal healing, whole foods, and raw foods. This program is the culmination of all these years of experience.

The Meetings
Weekly meetings are 6:15-7:15pm on Tuesdays, starting May 15 , in central Grand Forks. They are scheduled this way to take the place of your regular dinner time. At our meetings while I am sharing information and we are having discussion, you can eat, share food, and we will have a few healthy potlucks.

You can feel comfortable knowing that I:

Do not pressure you to eat only raw food or give up meat or dairy.
Do not force you into making any change that you dont feel comfortable with.
Do not force you to eat anything weird (unless you think fruit and vegetables are weird, then this is not for you).

Booty Burn

Targets hamstrings, butt, hips, abs. Toning and cardio. Simple low-impact moves. Fantastic results.

Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm , Sept 24, Oct 1, 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12. Register $70. Drop in $15/class. At the 4 th Street Studio (above Castle Hardware) * NO CLASS OCT 8

Booty Burn with More Core

Targets hamstrings, butt, hips, abs. Toning and cardio. Simple low-impact moves. But with more time dedicated to CORE WORK than the Monday night class. 20 minutes of Pilates mat work is incorporated at the end. This class is a little less high intensity than classic Booty Burn because there is more time on the mat at the end.

Pilates Classes

Pilates is a fun and challenging way to build strength, flexibility, and lean muscle tone for a stronger core and happier back. It focuses on precise movements emphasizing control and technique. Improve and increase your fitnesslevel while strengthening the core and back muscles. Improve your balance and flexibility. Pilates can help decrease back, neck, and shoulder pain by improving overall strength and balancing muscle weaknesses.

Gentle Yoga Classes

Full body stretching and lengthening. If you are achy and sore, this class will help. Gentle yoga can help with back pain, stress reduction, arthritis, menopause, and fibromyalgia. Modifications are presented so everyone can participate. This class is appropriate for people with sore hips, sore backs, bad knees, shoulder injuries, beginners, and plus-sized folks. Its also great for anyone who just wants to slow down and tune into their body.

Pain Relief Workshop

YOU DONT HAVE TO TOLERATE PAIN

If youve been suffering from chronic pain, youve probably lost out on alot of things in life.

Get some relief from the pain so you can feel calmer, sleep better, have more to give to family and friends, get outside, and be enthusiastic about life again!

This workshop shares natural at-home pain relief techniques for anyone who wants to reduce pain and live again.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to reduce pain without relying solely on medication. Its for anyone over 50 (or younger) who want to stay active, mobile, and independent.

Pain creeps up when we hit midlife and it doesnt go away as quickly. Maybe you suffer from wear and tear, your daily activities or exercise causes pain, or you feel achy in the morning. It drags you down and it affects the people you live with.

This workshop can help if you:

are recovering from an injury or surgery
have chronic pain
have lower back pain, middle back pain, neck ache, shoulder pain
have sciatica
have fibromyalgia
have limited mobility
have osteoporosis & arthritis
have a condition such as MS
have a work or sports repetitive stress injury

It is also for people who experience chronic stress and headaches and want to learn to relax and feel calm.

Discover easy methods that anyone can do using Meditation, Breath work, and conscious movement to reduce pain.

During the workshop you have the option to sit on a chair and/or move around or stand when you need to. We will be practicing meditation, breathing, and very gentle movements that are appropriate for your body. There is no pressure to do anything that hurts. Note: there is a flight of stairs to get up to the studio. I will be there to lend you an arm on the stairs if you need it.

Fabulous 50+ Low Impact Aerobics & Strength Training

Stay healthy and strong with a total body workout: 20 minutes of low-impact aerobics, 20 minutes of strength training with balance & core work, and 15 minutes of stretching. Get toned, improve heart health, improve bone health, get better balance and coordination. A fun workout to music! Level: beginner to moderate.

Wear your sneakers. Bring a water bottle. No dance skills needed.

Yoga Flow

This class flows from one pose to the next without stopping to talk about the finer points of each pose. That way, students come away with a good workout as well as a yoga experience. Strengthen, stretch, calm your mind.


HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

Alternating intense bursts of cardio, anaerobic, and resistance training intervals to max out your muscle building, stamina building, and fat burning capacity. Speeds up the metabolism. Studies show you keep burning calories for hours after the workout. Low impact options are shown. Appropriate for all levels from beginner to advanced the workout can be modified so you can work as hard as you want to.

Learn to use your breath to help heal physically, emotionally, and energetically. The breath is closely tied with our health on all levels. By learningconscious breathing techniques you can calm your nervous system, strengthen your immune system, and help reduce pain.

This workshop will be helpful for people with chronic pain from conditions like arthritis, fibroymalgia, recovering from injury, back pain, or other conditions. Breathing techniques can work along side conventional medical treatments. They give you control over your health.
