Potato chips, cheezies, chocolate bars….one-handed snacking at the computer. There have been times when I got so busy I ended up eating junk all day. That is definitely not self-love!!! So I decided to put Self-Love-Through-Food onto my calendar.
Every week I schedule 1.5 hours to make myself healthy snacks. I also put aside about 2 hours to create meals for the week. Its on my calendar as an appointment. Just as important as a meeting with a client.
I’m preparing whole-foods healthy stuff that I love. It fits into The Sattvic Eating Code – foods that nourish me on all levels. Foods that contain the gorgeous vitality of the sun and the earth.
This week I’m sharing a few tips for Sattvic snacking. Next week I’ll share some tips for Sattvic lunches and dinners.
